On a mild January afternoon, our Pandora women met against the men of the Sacramento Nightmare in a marathon exhibition game at Stockton Arena. Pandora took an early lead, but the game was evenly matched, and after four long, seemingly endless, periods, the game ended in a fitting and friendly 4-4 tie.

Both teams took some time to rest and replenish before meeting up in the evening to watch the Stockton Heat take on the Bakersfield Condors in exciting AHL action.

Good times were had by all and we look forward to doing it again next year!

We are putting out feelers now, to see who wants to play in the open ladies division at the CAHA tourney in San Jose at the end of April. 

Some of you are from the Kingdom of Far, Far Away(lol) Please come and skate with us, if it fits into your schedule.   

Last year was a pile of fun.  Would love to do it again, if we can get a team of 10-13 together again. 

Costs will be as follows

$75/skater if we get 13 skaters

$85/skater if we get 10 skaters

Goalie is subsidized by the skaters above. 

USA Hockey membership is required

If you want a Pandora set of jerseys, let Jillian know ASAP and send $40 with your payment to cover the cost of printing and shipping. I order the Tron jersey and they fit small, so order one or two sizes up from what you would usually wear.  Number will be assigned to you.....sorry, no choice on that. If you want your name on the back it is an extra $10. 

So $40/set w/o name.  $50/set w/ name. 

The night that we have been planning for the last few months with the Sacramento Nightmare is in motion. Hockey night in Stockton is a GO.

There will be a pre-game skate with the Nightmare vs Pandora. More to follow in the upcoming weeks on how that will pan out. It will happen in the afternoon of January 30th. We NEED your input and and we NEED your support in so many areas in order to keep us growing women's hockey in the Sacramento Valley Area.  We are seeing more women enter the LTP program at Roseville and we are receiving more requests and getting more contact with women in the Sacramento Valley area, who are asking about us and teams to play on.

We are seeing growth again and changes need to be made to our program to help this growth continue.  Success, as one of our players just said to me, is only as good as those who are leading the way.  Let's make this the best women's Hockey organization around! 

This year's Women & Wine Tournament will be held from July 17-19. Contact pandorahockey@gmail.com sooner rather than later if you're interested in playing. 

Team entries will be based on the number of players interested and skill level.
