Q:  How do I get involved in Pandora as a Hockey player? 

A:  Contact us in one of many ways..................................Here at our Pandorahockey.org website; email us at pandorahockey@gmail.com; contact the Vacaville or Roseville rinks and they will give you our contact information;  see a purple shirt with our logo on it, ask the person who is wearing it to get you in contact with one of us and get you on the ice with the fun women of Pandora to start your hockey fun with.

Q:  Is there a membership fee in order to belong or play with Pandora?

A:  No, there are no membership fees or secret handshakes.  All that is required of you to be a Pandora hockey player is be a woman and..........#1 Love the sport of hockey.  #2 Get your gear on  #3 Find out on our website calendar when our next practice is and show up to practice/scrimmage and pay the practice/game cost/player and we try to keep things as inexpensive as possible.

Q:  Do I need to know how to play hockey?

A:  No, you do not need to know how to play hockey but you should have basic and rudimentary skating skills under your feet.  Our coaches will teach you the concept of ice hockey. 

Q:  Do I need Hockey gear?

A:  Yes,  you will need the basic hockey gear such as stick, skates, helmets, gloves, elbow pads, shin guards, and pants. 

Q:  Where do I get hockey gear?

A:  You can buy gear at several places........local Proshop at Roseville-Skatetown, Hockey Xsport in Oakland, Proshop at Shark's Ice in San Jose or Oakland, Hockey Giant in San Jose, order it online at the several hockey gear retailers such as Hokey Giant, Hockey Money, Pure Hockey, Total Hockey, just to name a few.........................or Pandora can get you geared up temporarily if you are just trying it out for the first time.

Q:  How do I get on a tournament team?

A:  Sign up before the deadline dates set. Pandora participates in 4-5 tournaments within the State per season.  We use a first come, first serve basis on team sign ups.  We advise you of the divisions and skill level and let you decide if you want to play or not.  All tournament rosters are filled to a maximum of 13 skaters and 1 goalies, so it is important that you sign up as soon as you can, so you don't get left behind. 

Q:  How do I get on the email list? 

A:  Contact us here via our contact form and we will make sure we get your contact information and get you on the email fan outs for everything related to women's hockey and events.

Q:   Can I donate to Pandora or become a sponsor?

A:    Yes, clicking on our "Donate" button that appears on each page, you can donate to in many ways.  Monetarily, donating gently used gear or donating your time to one of our fundraising events.  And to become a sponsor, just contact our Exec and we will get a sponsor package out to you that spells out what you get for your sponsorship dollars.
